Being “ghosted” by a potential employer may seem unprofessional (Deichler, 2021) but it is not only happening, it is increasing. Using the job offer inquiry suggestions from this chapter, draft a message to the potential employer.

A buffer can be used when developing a written message to decline a job offer (Bovee & Thill, 2019). Imagine you are needing to decline a job offer. Develop three different buffers that could be used to start your message.
